This weekend’s Ironman, is a big one, but not bigger for anyone than California golden boy, Chris Lieto. While his cycling stomped everyone in this year’s Boise contest, he was outpaced when he fell in the running by two seconds by Australian Alexander. It does seems after pondering the details of recent years, that American competitors have been outshined in the placing winners by other countries. No doubt Lieto has got his work cut out for himself.

Outside Online has done us all a favor, people: they’ve compiled a list of “The Top 10 Athletes On Twitter”! Yes, tweets are the new blogs, and everyone loves it when their favorite jock gets online and reveals what goes on in their rarefied world.
