A blogging crew by the name of Notorias, has been quietly documenting their runs throughout the LA basin, both glorious and beautiful and some just downright urban. However, they manage to capture the type and scope of each journey, and share the video(!) from each of the vantage points on their runs. If you’re like me and you need external motivation to get up and out, it’s certainly a good place to start and plot your activity.

If you’d like a super humbling trail running experience complete with a gorgeous backdrop of most of Los Angeles County, then you *have* to try this trail… Westridge Trail is located in Pacific Palisades and is part of the Santa Monica Mountains.

Follow for the trail advice, but you can keep returning for the music playlists — this crew shows a pretty adventurous taste in music ( La Roux’s Foamo remix?) —  as well as the topical information about running in this urban maze we call LA.
