When I first peeped this list, I thought that celebrities might be putting together their favorite tracks to run to, but it turns out that these are the picks of their DJs. Yeah, I guess now with being a celebrity, part of the entourage is automatically a DJ. However, not having heard of even one of these DJs makes me feel dubious. Regardless, it is interesting to know what ends up on the ear buds for celebs, its more interesting to know that somebody is hipping folks to the eclecticism that is today’s music scene.

If only I could have the world’s best celebrity D.J.’s make play lists for me, I thought. Which, as soon as I took off my Saucony sneakers, is exactly what I requested from D.J. Cassidy, the unofficial DJ of President Obama’s administration; Mia Moretti, Katy Perry’s pal who has set up shop in the D.J. booth at big blowouts such as the Life Ball in Vienna, Austria; D.J. Berrie, who has spun at all of the globe’s most exclusive nightclubs, including New York’s Tenjune and 1Oak and Las Vegas’s Tao; and others.

However, if these “celebs” can’t pick their own music, we wonder if they run their own race, or do they have stand-ins train and report back about how tired they should be?
