Zach Hill is best known as the (kinda intense) drummer for Hella, and he’s also played with Wavves Team Sleep, blahblahblah: let’s just say he gets his art-metal-weird-time-signature-meets-hardcore action on with his fancy footwork…  His new song, “The Sacto Smile” (Hill is from Sacramento, hence “Sacto”) is, well, a math-rock blur, notable for two things especially. 1) Apparently it’s a collaboration with the great No Age. 2) The video is awesome! Like destructively, explosively, politically incorrectly awesome. It features a young woman basically getting revenge on… Everything. Nothing is spared. Please do not try this at home…
