yeah we did say that we were going more Cali centric (probably meant California) but here’s a project that Quantic has just completed out of Cali Colombia that well deserves many mentions. I thankfully travel a lot and so last night i happily found myself in London at the ICA at an event highlighting Quantic and his Combo Bárbaro project and new release. This also includes the wonderful short film made by B+ (of Brasilintime /Keepintime fame)  ‘Tradition In Transition: A Postcard From Cali’ which shows a kinda day in the life of Cali and the journey in making this fine album.

We offer up a small taste below of the 1st single off the album to be released July 6th on Tru Thoughts as well info on B+ and his Mochilla film, photo and events activities and the spots where if in Paris and the UK you can see the film, meet Quantic & B+ up close and hear the tunes (at least in DJ sets from the boys) that make up or inspired the making of this exciting album.
