“The stakes are high to kick the year off in some style!” Gilles Peterson has officially opened the races up for awards season. Celebrating a year of superb underground music, Gilles Peterson, BBC Radio 1 and Kspace.tv present the Worldwide Awards on Saturday, January 24 at Cargo. Artists are still being locked in, but we are happy to say Jazzanova (above) will be making their first ever UK live debut and it’s on the WWA stage. Also confirmed Robert Mitchell 3io, Stacey Epps, Dorian Concept, Quiet Village, Mama! Milk (Japan), Jonathan Jeremiah and still many more to come.
