Well they say in New York City that its a chockablock village full of nomadic souls who are on a quest to attain that desired “Make it in NYC” sticker. Ditto for London! Makes perfect sense that these two can be construed as the Ellis Island of musical migrations from around the world. The next NYC/LDN installment on Saturday August 30th at Cargo grants entry to a crackin’ new band by way of South Africa and already hailed as the next “real” thing wonder. Introducing the London debut of Blk Jks. With a universal sound that lends inspiration from Led Zepplin to Bob Marley and everything in between including a bold creed of what it is to be consicous and cool. Helping to keep the NYC/LDN thread as tight as ever, joining Blk Jks (um is that Pharrell with them above) will be Phil Asher (Restless Soul), DJ Reborn (Ubiquita NYC), Patchwork Pirates (Thugs N Hugs), and an Extra – Ordinary special Southern Fried menu by Dante Fried Chicken NYC imagined exclusively for NYC/LDN
