At the School of ‘Dark’ everything seems to go – from poetry and play-
writing to music producing and lugging records. Versatile is an 
understatement when speaking about Charlie. Most Londoners would 
best describe Charlie Dark as the official authority of what’s fresh 
and spicy in british black music and culture. No doubt about it, this 
crafty chieftain has played an integral part in shaping what we 
consider to be fly in these times! Remember the trip hop group Attica 
Blues, the legendary arts collective club night Blacktronica, and the 
recent fusion experiment African Beats Tour – Charlie is behind all 
those trailblazing musical journeys. Yeah he is that dude! The bevy 
at Brownswood knows that “Charlie’s Got Bass Too” and will be together with  GP , Youngsta , Simbad, and Thristian aka BPM aka “kool 
aid smile kid!”at our favorite East Village spot on Great Eastern St in East London.
