This weekend I had the fortuity to embark on the magical “Mystery” tour of Paris with BLK JKS. Following a packed out discovery performance at La Fleche D’or on Saturday night, the fellas and I decided the next morning to do our own virgin exploration of the streets of Pa-ris. From the early morning metro ride in search of abit of serious flea market action at Les Puces du Saint -Ouen, to lunching in la rive gauche most jazziest quarter – Saint Germain – our lenses did begin to get that infamous pink tint that everyone goes on to sing about. We too began to join into the chanson of the city along the Seine River as we searched high – so very, very high for that one iconic emblem to confirm that we were indeed here and then voila there we stood underneath that imperial tower. Standing there, connecting last night performance, and looking ahead to the show on the 30th in London cemented the constant need to continue to interlock great music with transcendental cultural experiences.
