We have been having the greatest time following BLK JKS on their maiden voyage to Europe this month. From Eastnor (Big Chill) to Dublin to Amsterdam to Paris back to Dublin to Liverpool and then to Notting Hill Carnival, KSPACE.TV has been the fly on the amp catching the very first breath of new fans all over. Folks have been put on to the hope and spirit of this incredible group of musicians in a very serious way. Now its time for London’s defining moment in new music. BLK JKS will be performing an acoustic set at Rough Trade East tomorrow Friday in Brick Lane at 6:30pm as a playful teaser to the build up to their official London debut show at NYC/LDN at Cargo on Saturday, August 30 – Phil Asher, DJ Reborn, Patchwork Pirates and Dante’s Fried Chicken also join us under the brick arches.
