This weekend in LA is a one of a kind evening of LA’s master beat-makers. While many electronic artists in the UK have discovered the open-minded audiences here, the main draw for many in the dubstep and hip-hop communities is the budding talent pool of artists here in LA.

FYF Fest is a musical treasure of the L.A. music scene for some time. The annual DIY festival features the best of the underground, and this year’s lineup features the best that indie has to offer. The roster includes Black Lips, Dan Deacon, Glass Candy, No Age, Wavves, Har Mar Supersar, Lightning Bolt, and our faves Avi Buffalo, which is well worth the $20 bill you would probably drop on bad beer and burritos otherwise. However, this year that money is going to good use, as proceeds from FYF Fest will be going to ‘Save Our Skateparks’ to help stave off the closing of skateparks across California.
