The bass and the drums boomed and echoed at the ‘Behind the Skreening’ of DUB ECHOES at this weekend’s B-Oost Festival in Amsterdam. The new cinema at the OBA here did the director Bruno Natal proud with it’s deep boomin’ sound system, huge skreen and a full house gettin’ deep into dub’s journey and ongoing legacy. Bruno and Don Letts graced the Q&A with stories of the making of this exceptional film as told in often hilarious anecdotes by dub scientists ‘Scratch’ Perry, U-Roy, Bunny Lee, Mad Professor, Dennis Bovell and so many more.
